I bought a house in Boulder, CO on 03/28/18. At this time I was moving from Gainesville, FL to CO for a job and discovering that the housing market in CO was ridiculously expensive in comparison with FL. I searched for realtors online and came across Dustin’s. I gave him a cold call to tell him what I was looking for and get his thoughts. On our first call, we had a 45min+ conversation where he gave me his professional and personal thoughts on the front-range area including Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder, and Eerie.
My fiancé and I were looking at homes in Eerie initially to be in our price range. However, all were extremely large for two people. Furthermore, after telling Dustin I wanted this home to be a good investment as well as a place to live, he educated me about the building plans in Erie, Boulder, and Louisville as well as the real estate laws and growth in each area and changed my opinion.
We ended up looking at anywhere from 3,000+ ft2 houses in Eerie to small apartments in Boulder and Dustin was giving skype tours and supporting us every step of the way.
He eventually helped us close on a great deal on our dream home (accepted offer $14K under asking despite seller resistance). He supported us in all aspects of choosing and never pressured us. I have had three realtors down and Dustin is hands down the best I’ve had. In summary: five stars in 1) knowledgeable of area 2) Understanding and not pushy while giving appropriate advice and 3) negotiation acumen. As a bonus, he is very pleasant as a person too.
